I’ve tried loading a bmp file to create a mspec file but am getting a response of “BMP reader compression not supported” when selecting custom non-linear or a “timeout – DCRAW doesn’t seem to have processed this file” when selecting RAW photo. What is causing this error?

Hi Andrew,
For working with BMP images you need to select “Linear Image” or “Custom non-linear” when generating a new calibrated mspec image.
