Hello,
I would like to measure the amount of black spotting on white eggshells. I know how to create an mspec image with an roi on the egg but it is still unclear to me how to best measure the black spotting. I watched the videos on youtube and the Naive Bayes looks promising but I am unsure if that is the best method for what I am trying to do.
More specific direction would be extremely helpful. I know how to do particle analysis by just using ImageJ but I would like to be able to use Mica.
Hi Richard,
Yes, you could use either clustering method and then look at the transition matrix (where the proportion of synonymous transitions approximate the % of each cluster) or the other outputs such as the exactly said particle analysis which will give you a precise pixel and %area value.
Cheers,
Cedric
