Hi, when I’ve tried to load mspec images, I get a strange error. After creating the images, I get a set of three greyscale images (as expected) corresponding to the red, blue, and green channels from the raw image. However, when I close the file and then “Load Multispectral Image” to retrieve the file, the image shows up as a blue haze over all three channels, which look identical. Have you seen this before, and do you know what is causing it?
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this bug. We’ve been finding the same issue across Apple & Windows machines and it is possibly linked to the new .mspec file format. Please use version 2.1. for the time being until a fix is announced. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Cheers,
C
Hi All,
Thanks for flagging this bug! I’ve fixed in v2.2.2 (apologies for being so slow during the pandemic). Please wipe the old scripts and re-download, and images should load up fine again.
This teething trouble with the completely new format of mspec images is annoying, but this shift will make future features (like affine alignment) much more easy to implement.
Cheers,
Jolyon
Yep, this seems to have done the trick! Thanks Jolyon!
