Hi there,
I was curious if there’s a way to run the same QCPA Analysis on a folder of .mspec images, similar to what was possible with the micaToolbox v1 with “Batch Multispectral Image Analysis”. Is this already a feature or does it simply involve writing a macro to conduct the analysis on a series of files within a folder?
Thanks for all your hard work in making this resource available for color and pattern science!
Best,
Nick
Hi Nick,
I am currently faced with analysing multiple thousands of images over multiple viewing distances and visual systems using various (i.e. pretty much all) pathways in QCPA. As a result, further batch processing abilities for the QCPA are under development (Jolyon has also written some scripts in the past) which will be made available as soon as things are up and running. If you need a solution urgently, reaching out via PM could provide a solution. However, I predict another couple of weeks for the script I aim at using to be available for general use. Given how differentiated the various pathways of using the QCPA are, the resulting batch processing scripts may or may not need further user-directed customisation and variable degrees of manual input (e.g. object vs. background segregation) to fit the specific purpose you are after. Stay tuned =)
Cheers,
Cedric
